Default Do I need a winch fuse kit?

I will be wiring up my Smittybilt XRC10 comp in a few weeks. Do I need a winch fuse kit like the one from Benchmark Designs or are there other options?

I use a fuse with my winch. Didn't know Benchmark had a kit... I built my own.

I used this fuse holder (and fuses). The cable was purchased locally.
