Happened to me 2 days after I picked up my used JK with 43k miles. Same exact problems as you - it was the TIPM...https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-e...-issues-74829/

This forum helped me tell the dealer what was wrong so they could fix it. Lucky enough for me they covered the fix along with a rental. According to NC law they did not have to and I am glad I did not have a hassel. Not often do dealers do the right thing.

Worst case scenario buy a new TIPM and install it yourself...it's just a few bolts/wires and should be easy from what i researched when I thought I was going to get a hassel from the dealer.

Jeep dealer two blocks from my house quoted me $372 for new module, but can not get me one. Called dealer in Michigan, shipped the new one $100 less than my dealer!!! Now just find some one to install.

Can any tell me if the new tipm can be installed by myself? I had one dealership tell me it needs to be programmed and installed by a dealership?
