Thanks. I'll read through it.
I'm leaning heavily toward going with IPF Headlights with 100/170W bulbs. Properly aligned, they should be OK, and definately bright enough. I had IPF Headlights in my JK for 4 years without ANY problems, and they had 80/110W bulbs.

I love it how the origional poster asks a question about how to modify a relay/foglight/highbeam setup, and like 75% of the posts are about swapping out for different headlights. Coming from some one who has an obsession with what has quickly become the olds school stuff (CJ/XJ/YJ/TJ) who bought an 08JK, with both a Lifetime Powertrain and a Maximim Care Service Contract, I cant hack wiring harnesses/swap light bulbs/mess with votage stuff cause Im sure my local slap dick dealers will find a way to screw me.
That said, the JK w/fogs is far superior in lighting capability than any jeep before, but I still want my fogs on with my high beams with the simplest mod possible like the "cut the prong off the relay mod for TJ wrangler)
Does anyone have a wiring diagram sketch for the underhood switch modification that would allow the relay only to be defeated?
