Default Installing Power Door Locks - 2009 JK

I recently installed power door locks in my JK. Here are some pictures that may help if anyone else is trying to do this. Part numbers are valid in Oct 2009....may change over time. See attachments.

One question that I haven't seen anyone show pics of. What does the new connector look like where the door attaches to the body? I'm assuming that the body side door connectors are not wired for the power locks and you either have to add a 2nd connector for removing the doors, or come up with a matching body side connector and pins to match the new door harness? Does that make sense?

I've been thinking about adding keyless entry myself (I hate fumbling for my keys in the the dark and pouring rain), but want to keep the doors down to a single connector because I yank them off every chance I get.

BTW.....nice pics

I had an alarm installed and the keyless entry added to the front but the installer couldn't mount the back actuators. I ordered the latches yesterday, can I just splice into the front door lock wires to run to the back doors, to trigger the back as well. Ideally I would like to run the tailgate off one of the back wires as well. I am electrically challenged in this stuff. Any help is appreciated as I need to have this done before the first child gets here.

Thanks

Default 2011 Wranger Sport 2 door

I just joined the Wrangler club with my new 2011. I also want to add power locks and keyless entry and was told today by a reputable shop that I needed to order Jeep lock parts because nothing else will fit. Don't know the price for those yet but the rest of the parts and the installation estimate was $370 for two doors. So the total will be $370 plus the Jeep parts.
