Default Making lights harder to steal

Hey I was wondering what you guys do do make it a PITA to steal lights. I just ordered the quadratec light mounts that go infront of the grill and I'm planning to mount my daylighters on them. Thanks

You can buy security nuts, but I think they are like $30 for two. I've always wondered if you could solder the nut once the light is on. If you had to remove it you could just heat it up. Loctite might be an option as well. Let me know if you come up with a good DIY solution.

theft has been covered in great detail on some other thread.
and yes the consensus was that if they want it that bad they will get it.

although Ive never heard of lights being stolen, but i guess its just as possible, but they would have to break a good portion of the wiring to get it

i like the tack weld idea, and the tremble sensor seems good too

You want to make it difficult but not impossible. Difficult to slow them down and deter. If impossible they will usually get pissed off and destroy everything in sight.
