Mine also was only the disks or MP3's from the usb drive....was on both the original 6-disc and the new mygig.

I went to check out the 09's...the freedom tops now have a center front latch that secures to the front middle tie-down hoop.

I was quoted over $1000 to purchase some redesigned 09 freedom top panels I wish I could get some of those new ones though, they look like they would clamp the front center much better.

No new speakers just the amp calibration TSB. However, it did stop the popping and it did not really change the sound of the stereo...still have thumping bass but no pop and cracks.

However, they have to order rubber gaskets for my freedom top and will get this done next week. I never even thought of looking at the 09's on the lot to see the new freedom top design....wow $1000 to change out to the new design. They should make this a recall on all JK's for the faulty freedom top design.

I got a good look at the new designed Ram 1500...wow nice truck....but damn it's pricey....SLT+ $48000 CDN MRSP. I just walked away

Malo...

Now, I am definitely not going to say you're wrong about all that BUT I can tell you for sure that since I had my flash I can barely hear the sound bar speakers. Before the flash they had plenty of sound. I'm no audiophile but I am positive I liked the sound of my system (less the popping and cracking) much more before the flash.

If others are having luck with the Nitro amps bringing back the sound to their bar speakers then I say WTF? Why isn't this being fixed appropriately? I WANT MY SOUND BACK!!! (The sound I paid extra for damit).

Well....I drove the JK the other day and slipped in AC/DC and turned up some bass and I was disappointed on how the system sounded. I had the amp calibration done last month and never really paid much attention to the rear speakers. Well, I was getting a real tinny sound from the rear speakers. I decided to fade from front to back speakers and wow what a difference in quality...fronts just rocked and the rears just stunk up the joint!!!!

Well, I took it to the dealership and complained about the poor quality of sound after the calibration. Had the service manager listen and he totally agree...something needs to be done. Well, I got a call after work from our service manager and they are going to replace the amp next week. We shall see what happens....it will be interesting....I was thinking they would replace the rear speakers before they replace the amp????

Keep you posted on this!!!

I am sorry but replacing the amp isnt going to fix their problem. The speakers are two low and ohm and cause the amp to clip (distort) That is why we have popping. The speakers all need to be ran at 4 ohm to get the amp to stop clipping and the amp tune needs to reflect this also. Chrysler is stupid and our systems plain suck.

I have done a ton of research and you will find my posts very informitive. Just search for nitro doge amp or infinity amplifier.

Is this only a problem in the 08' models? My 07 sounds great with no popping.

I brought mine in today and had them flash the Amp, no more popping and cannot detect any loss in power

Also had them turn off my headlights when unlocked with the remote, shweet.

Also bought a hard top
