Glad it helped. It's really no different than a small flashlight/lantern if you think about it... they don't use relays to simply light up. A pair of 130w offroad lights are another thing entirely.

The average draw on the LED is only 20ma. The incandescent lights draw roughly 40ma each.

I've got 4 incandescents running off my dimmer circuit. No problems. They do get a little warm tho.

Default ? Wire to dash lights

Is it possible to wire to the orange/gray tracer wire that is going to the power lock button at the driver door for the Otrattw switches for dim able power?

Do you have a multi tester? If so check to see if that wire has 12 volts all the time, 12 volts only when the ignition is on or 12 volts when the lights are on. If the wire works for you then don't worry about the switch light leds as they don't draw enough power.

However, there is a perfectly good dimmer wire that you can use if you pull off the center console plastic around the stereo. I assume you want to be able to dim those switches with the rest of the inside lights right?

Default Yes

Yes I do want to dim them. The light on the power door lock button does dim with the other dash lights as well. That was my thought to hook into that just before the quick disconnect for all the door wiring way easier to get to.

Default Haven't tested

Did not check it with a meter yet. Hoping to do that today. But way easier then tearing into the dash and running wire back there. My other power ill use a fuse tap for. Rugged ridge a pilar pod looks good inside. The fit to the door needs some tweaking though.

This is the wiring and install do far. The switches are completely wired though before installing. Still have to run relay and mount the 130w KC Slimlites on windshield mounts.
