so whats the true advantage to buying "projector" lights versus a HID install kit? are they brighter, last longer, less damage from jolting around? please enlighten me. or is it just a gimmick to say i have those?

the advantage to a projecor vs. a reflector housing is that the projector has a nice cut off line and dirrect beam patter unlike the stock reflectors that throw the light all over the place. When using HIDs the projectors also do not blind oncomming traffic like the reflector housings would

those projectors can be bought for 275 and that includes the projector, shroud, bulbs, wiring and ballast so your basically paying 620 the housings and labor. i will eventually be having my headlights retrofitted to hid projectors by a someone local to me

You can buy the Valeo/Slyvania XE7, a legal, functional, projector set for $688 for the pair.

Not sure why anybody would want this other product...
