This is what I'm trying to do. I got the light switch to work where either the led light inside the switch will come on or the rear light on the bumper will. Any ideas!

Ya, I got a couple.

1) Do you want the LED on the switch to come on when you flip the switch? Do this:
Accessory power to pin #3 on the switch.
Relay trigger wire to pin #2 on switch.
On Switch - Jumper wire from pin #2 to pin #8.
Ground wire to pin #7.

2) Do you want the LED on the switch to work like the dash lights? Do this:
Accessory power to pin #3 on the switch.
Relay trigger wire to pin #2 on the switch.
Dash illumination wire to pin #8 on the switch.
Ground wire to pin #7.

Where are you getting the wire for #8? The closest group of wires for dash illuminated items was to the hazard and ESP lighted switches, but there are 4 wires in that group. Which one is for the illumination?
