Default Wiring Rubicon OEM Dana 44 lockers on a Sahara

I acquired a pair of OEM Dana 44 Rubicon axles that I am installing on my 2014 Sahara. Looking for advice from somebody who can direct me as to the best way to wire the lockers. My front and rear lockers will be wired to toggle switches on my pillar post. I would like to have a separate toggle switch as the master power switch for the lockers so I don't accidentally activate the lockers at 40 mph. My question is, how and where is the best way to tie in to the electrical system to power the lockers. Thanks!!

If you want an additional switch to prevent accidental engagement, you could add a toggle before the switch for the 12v feed.

Thank you 14Sport. Is there a way to wire it without taping into the can-bus system?

yea, that is what his diagram shows.

Also, I wouldn't worry about a relay if using a quality switch like a Contura. The switch is rated to 20amps and my locker drew <3 when activated. Just a fuse and a switch.

As JC said, that diagram does not tap into the CANBUS.

The one I tested drew about 4 amps.

Thanks all for the responses. One more question. The Rubicon axles don't have any wiring included. Can you tell me what wiring harness and/or stubs are needed? Part numbers would be extremely helpful. Thank you!

Looks like these to me, but I really don't know so you may want to call them to confirm.

Front solenoid connector...

Mopar Connection Repair Kit

Rear solenoid connector...

Mopar Connection Repair Kit

Switch front...

Mopar Connection Repair Kit

Switch rear...

Mopar Connection Repair Kit

The oem part numbers are listed so you could google them for more info.

Thats what I meant, I didn't proof my post. It was just under 4 amps when I tested my front rubi locker.
