GR8WHITE 2.0 (But Actually Silver) (40’s, 8 lugs, stretched)
Did you do any planning and research or did you just decide to order a bunch of parts and go at it? The ORI struts should give you a little more breathing room vs a coil over and will keep things more simple. I would add a nitrogen fill kit to your list of stuff so you can adjust the struts. If I were going to do it all over again (which I will not do) I would do the struts.
Great, your build looks good and trails will be easy when you get it all done. You might look up Abendex's build as he removed the entire rear end and tubed it. I think his thread is on JKO but he died last year.
I see so many people just buy 40's and try to make it fit. I even saw a guy buy a brand new 10th anniversary model and after two threads of weather to buy 35" tires or 37" tires he bought 42" tires and thought he was just going to bolt them on.

Ordered a bunch more parts. I believe i have everything at this point to build the axles and suspension. Still need quite a few more odds and ends. Heres what i got for the axles.... I still can't decide what shave to do on the 14 bolt.

You should just buy this one. 2007 jk wrangler 1 ton crawler
nothing but this one already has the tons under it an the 40's. you are basically building the same vehicle i have and know what a pain in the ass it was to build. You are going to have $45-50K in your build before it is all said and done and this one is already sitting on 40's and tons for about a third of that.
