If I were going to do it all over again (which I will not do) I would do the struts.
Yes, I have put a ton of thought and planning into this jeep. I have been plotting this build for the last year. I have been wheeling a lot and i have learned exactly what i want and what actually works. I have been setting up my friends rigs and decided it was time to build something for my self and start working on my own rig for once. I can't even explain how planned out this build is... I have personal experience with struts as i have set up a set for my brothers jkur. I will be ordering a dual fill kit shortly. I have focused on getting the big spending out of the way first. I definitely forgot a few thing on the parts list on OP....

Great, your build looks good and trails will be easy when you get it all done. You might look up Abendex's build as he removed the entire rear end and tubed it. I think his thread is on JKO but he died last year.
I see so many people just buy 40's and try to make it fit. I even saw a guy buy a brand new 10th anniversary model and after two threads of weather to buy 35" tires or 37" tires he bought 42" tires and thought he was just going to bolt them on.

Thanks. She should be one capable rig. And i have seen his thread and we actually messaged back and forth about 2 years ago talking about struts. Sad he died. Seem like a good guy.

Ordered a bunch more parts. I believe i have everything at this point to build the axles and suspension. Still need quite a few more odds and ends. Heres what i got for the axles.... I still can't decide what shave to do on the 14 bolt.

nothing but this one already has the tons under it an the 40's. you are basically building the same vehicle i have and know what a pain in the ass it was to build. You are going to have $45-50K in your build before it is all said and done and this one is already sitting on 40's and tons for about a third of that.

Ya but I wanna build something I can be proud of and be set up exactly how i want it. I hate remodeling someone else's mistakes. And ya... At this point I'm gonna have 23-25k in parts.
