I know my choices are not everyone's cup of tea. My vision is as close to a stock Rubicon but bullet proof. I've had full floater 8 lug on a rig similar to yours and loved them. This rig will serve exactly my needs and the semi float 5 lug Curries just fell in my lap(under $10K). I might have been fine leaving the Dana 44's in it actually but why invest any money in them and then still wonder if they are my weak link. For the Jeeping I do if I need to call an off road recovery with these I've done something seriously wrong. The Currie's extra ground clearance without having to shave them and the High pinion rear for a little more clearance were important to me as well.

Well there is progress. Still need the get the new shocks and sorting out the Eaton locker switches. I think I will run them separate from the stock Rubicon switch. I fumble with that one and front and rear is on the same switch. I hope I can delete the locker function on the dash with my programmer. Might have some traction control issues also. We will see.

Well I am thinking I want the PSE Big bore hydro assist. Waiting on some other parts to come in so doing it wont really slow the build. Going to end up with it anyway right?

Looking good! You won’t be disappointed with the hydro steer.

The shortage and availability of parts these days still sucks! Trying to find a driveshaft shop that can do the driveshafts in less than 6 weeks.

Well it was recommended that I try Woods or Adams with a 1310 double cardan on the transfer case side and 1350's on the Currie side as a precaution to spare the transfer case. Woods are 2" dia with .120" wall

I would just run 1310 all around.

I would have the but the Currie came with 1350's and Woods can do it quick and get me going. I've had Woods before and liked them. Just a couple more item to arrive. I am sure I will be callenged with some programing issues. Reset the speedo, traction control and the Rubicon Locker light that will bug the shit out of me. I used the Eaton wire harness and switches and located them in the center consol.

The rubicon locker light should never come on. After a while you just ignore the dash lights. Mine looked like a Christmas tree.
