Default Please help!!!!

Ok I'm new to this site.. where to begin.. my dad passed away just over a year ago.. I got his jeep.. me and my dad used to work on cars so yes I'm a girl but i know alot about cars.. i took my car to Firestone back in December of 2018 for an oil change they didnt tighten down my oil filter and it blew off causing a bunch of damage to my jeep.. with that being said and being an employee of Firestone didnt get anywhere.. so i took my list of problems and have since April started fixing them.. i did this in a horrible order i know that now.. i replaced the transmission cooling lines, upper radiator hose, oil pan gasket, and right valve cover gasket all on my own yes! I also replaced the tie rods and drag links on it as well.. now the final thing I had been dreading was the timing chain! So a friend stopped by said he knew some guys that cam do the work I said I know what I'm doing but thanks anyways.. he called them over and after me telling them they were doing it wrong and not listening sure enough the guy blew my oil pump rotors to pieces!!!!! I took me a drive down the street to figure out what he had done! So I can home disassembled the whole timing chain cover AGAIN! rebuilt the oil pump.. put it back together and ta da misfire cylinder 2! So I so it apart for now a 3rd time!!! Thinking it threw the timing off.. nope! Put it back together and yes in fact still a misfire in cylinder 2!!!!!!! I replaced the spark plug.. nope still misfiring.. now I'm left with trying to figure this out as quickly and easily as possible!! I have the right valve cover currently off cuz there is also a tick! The car idles VERY rough to the point I feel like it's going to stall!!! I'm tired of having people touch my car who have no idea what they r doing! So please everyone I cant take anymore with a shot in the dark kind of solution!!

Just to save others some time, you've got a 2010 with the 3.8l and an auto trans, right? Have you swapped coils to see if the misfire follows a particular wire (bad coil or wire)?

The coil and wires r all in great shape! Let me also say my jeep only has 120,000 miles on it.. and before the Firestone incident had no problems!

We're trying to eliminate sources of problems here, so how did you determine they're in great shape? They are due for replacement at 102k miles if memory serves correctly. Not that they fail after that point, I've got 200k on mine, but it is something to consider.

You mentioned cylinder 2 as well as the right side. Cylinder 2 is behind the driver's headlight.

I have checked the coil and all the wires.. the main problem I'm having is misfire in cylinder 2 along with a tick and rough idling..

Check your cam position sensor. A bad O2 sensor can cause a misfire. Bad injector, bad fuel.
