Just thought I'd share a funny moment here:

I was talking to the OP on the phone today about why his axles aren't centered and he also said his brake lines were'nt extended by whoever put his original lift on. I told him he would need either a track bar bracket or adjustable track bar and some extended brake lines. When he asked me how much a track bar and brake lines were I told him a rough estimate and there was a brief pause follow by:

OP:"You know what the most expensive part of this damn jeep is gonna be?......"

Me:"What's that?..."

OP:"Child Support."

I about passed out from laughter because if you knew his wife, you would know how true of a statement that was Had to share buddy.

So as you read, tonight while installing the new rancho 9000 XL's I realized that when the front axle is drooped out on the lift the right front drivers shock hits the frame rail.... Hard one quick call to my enabler aka jk505 I realize the track bar and break line issues sooooooo JOSH, IF YOURE LISTENING, YOURE THE MOST AMAZING PARTS GUY EVER!!!! and I need some track bars, brake lines, and rear gears...... Changing the name of this thread from painfully cheap to ludicrously expensive.... P.S. The RANCHO's = best money I've spent so far!!! PSS my wife is a fair understanding beautiful women lmao

Psss Bliz thank you as always for you're kind words and you're right it could use some dressing up! Btw it's time for you to start a build thread!

This is true, if I made her sound like anything else, it was by accident.

Any time! Awesome pics, man! I was planning on getting into some mud this weekend, but St. Patties in Chicago got the best of me and my wallet!

I think you are right, I should start one soon.

I just haven't done anything major in awhile that was worth documenting. Gears are coming soon, and I'm toying with the idea of a detroit truetrac up front; it may be worth writing about. I see a lot of people talk lockers, but LSDs need love too! I've got a big trip to play on the sand dunes in west Michigan coming soon, so I need to prepare!!

Fixed my issue with the exhaust crossover pipe today! The picture is at full droop with the discos out so hoping that's one less worry out of the way! Getting tired of being a 2wd jeep!!! Man I can't wait to get my rear regeared!!!! Sent from my iPhone using JK-Forum

Well my never ending quest to make my daily driver completely useless on the highway reached a new milestone! Bought a Detroit locker for the rear! Kinda excited, kinda terrified but I got an awesome deal from a forum member on it used so I can always take it out if it's to rough and I hate it... And yes I'm aware that's what she said
