Default Boring timeline of my jeep aka so that's where all my money went.

Here's a long boring story and timeline of my jeep.

Bought a brand new 2010 Sport S from Naber Dodge in Shallotte. MANGO TANGO!

After having it for a couple weeks, I ordered a 3.5" Series II Rough Country Lift. I then put it, in the rain, in my apartment parking lot.

Rode around lifted on stock wheels and tires for a few months as the wife and I bought a new home! Added Rugged Ridge mirror relocation brackets, and Rough Country 1.5" Wheel Spacers.

Eventually saved up enough to put on Procomp 15x8 wheels and 35" KM2s.

So we took it straight to the bog.

It was time to start adding the things that were left out of the lift kit. Rock Krawler Control arms.

JKS coil retainers, EVO Rockstars, and Rock Krawler wedges.

Next we did AEV Highsteer from Northridge ,some Rough Country Discos, and Evap relocation.

Now we planned for a winch, so I picked up a Bestop winch bumper. And threw on a 12k Winch from Badland.

After a lot of wheeling with the sway bar discoed, I ate the stock DS up and added a 1310 Coast from Northridge.

Feeling pretty good about where we had the jeep, we went to Uwharrie for the first time.

I even winched a Land Cruiser up a part of Daniel.

Loved Uwharrie so we went again, but added a full size spare, Or-fab carrier, Or-fab rock rails, and a CB before heading back.

I then got too brave back home in a retention pond and sunk the jeep until water was up to the steering wheel..idled there for 3.5 hours but finally got out.

Eventually a stub shaft broke, so while I was at it, an Aussie locker went in the D30.

New inner seals too, PITA

Back to Uwharrie for trip #3 of the season. Very, very wet trip.

And again, a 4th trip to Uwharrie, this time the leaves had changed.

Added the Rock Krawler rear 3-link. Which is awesome.

It was time to start thinking bigger and better. I started my rear coilover setup, and threw on longer brake lines from Crown.

After getting the rear coilover setup figured out, i knew i wanted a taller tire so i started to sell parts i knew i was going to replace.

sold:

35" Km2s
15" wheels
Purejeep evap relocation
Bestop bumper
Badland winch

I ordered a brand new mopar d44 rubi EMPTY housing and a G2 diff cover

Sleeved with nitro pound in sleeves.

Put on a 3rd brake light..cheaply as possible to pass inspection.

Added nitro gussets and skids to the axle as well as ball joints from northridge

Decided 35 spline was my best option, so I installed an arb compressor for the arb rd157 locker that i ordered.

Simple, functional switch mounting

G2 5.13 gears and motive bearing kit arrived

Locker, gears, and all installed and ready to go.

That's where I am today. I have more coilovers on the way to plan for the front, saving up for 35 spline RCV shafts so that I can get the d44 in the front of the jeep. Also going to do:

35 spline arb rd147 in the back with superior axle shafts, G2 5.13 gears.
37" Mud tires on 17" wheels -> to be decided at the time.
Or-fab sport cage
Long arms -> to be decided at the time.
Reid knuckles
chromoly steering
PSC front bumper and winch
PSC rear bumper
whatever else..

That had to take some time to put together.... both the jeep and the thread... the thread probably took longer!!! Nice work, good read!
