Default Custom Metal Badges?

Anyone know of a site that does custom metal badges? Anyone have pics of anything they've got made for them? What was the cost and how did it turn out?

Post pics please

Bump
Anyone know a site that sells custom metal badges like the transformers one?

Additionally, any sites that allow you to submit a picture to turn into a metal badge?

Not sure about custom work, but I have seen some metal looking (probably chromed plastic), transformer badges on eBay.

What about replacing the shiny Jeep logo on the front any ideas there? I was thinking of painting them but seeing this post has given me the idea "replace"

I painted my Jeep badge black. It is just chrome plated plastic.

eBay is loaded with all sorts of badges, names, logos, designs, etc.

Yeah when my wife got her patriot the was a random extra jeep logo like on the front of our jeeps in the patriots cup holder. I pocketed it to paint black and replace my chrome one.

Cool paint job! How did you do that? Take the letters off first or just tape around them?

You may want to check with some local machine shops. Anyone with a CNC router or mill should be able to make one for you. I had some custom badges quoted at my place of employment. They would have been around $70 for the first one then considerably less for additional.

We made some wood building blocks like you would see a child playing with. The kind with the a letter on one side and a picture of an animal on another. The difference is we made a whole set out of aluminum and had parts of them anodized. They are pretty neat.

Also, I remember seeing some "RESCUE" badges on here a while ago that someone had made. You might contact them to find out where they were done.

I pulled each letter off, scuffed it up a bit with sand paper and shot it with a couple coats of rustoleum flat black. Then used 3M double side tape...the good stuff with red backing...and a razor blade to cut around each letter. The paint on my Jeep had faded just enough that I could see the outline of where the emblem was and made re-installation a breeze.
