Custom modular JK hardtop
I like it and believe it would be a major demand item. Marketing is the key to get people past the Land Rover look, which I know you have dispelled earlier in the post with some of the ealrier Jeep tops.
The only question I have is, the rear window - can the angle be changed to make it symetrical with the edges of the lower part of the rear barn door? It tapers inward toward the center as it is it is now. Maybe that is OK since the upper part provides more viewing area than the lower. Just a thought.

BTW the small back windows are actually useful, here's an "over the shoulder" view - the small in the back does provide for some extra visibility:

And speaking of extra visibility, since the rear wiper is mounted in the bottom of the barn door, there isn't a huge wiper motor blocking the view out the back anymore. And when everything's done there won't be a third brake light blocking the view either, that's being moved to the roof.
Cut into two more manageable pieces. A little woodworking and bodywork and it can be the mold master for the 2dr JK Safari Cab roof mold, but for now, each piece is easy for me to move around by myself so I can keep the master around a while longer.

What this would look like - here are a few 2dr concept drawings I've posted before...

If a company signs up to market the top, they could change the windows (or anything else) in whatever way they wanted.

I really like the corner windows. What i was referring to was the center back window and the taper towards the bottom. It is just an minor aesthetics thing. The overall top is great and really do like the move of the wiper motor and the wiper out of the way. The CJ-7 wiper moter was much smaller than the JK's... Although it was in the left front dash area inside, but the JK motor seems rather large for the purpose and it only powers one wiper.
Get this to production!

Or maybe I'm misunderstanding you, and you're saying you want it to be tapered towards the bottom instead of rectangular, I guess I'm not really sure what you're getting at.
Here's a photo of the barn door and rear panel taken straight on:

I'm thinking about whether it makes sense to be a production product or not, and whether it's worth my trouble.
Thank you.
Yes, definitely it will support a roof top tent. When I designed and built the the LJ Safari Cab, I built integrated roof rack support into the design, and planned it to support a RTT with two adults. The way the design works all of the weight on the rack is transferred to the roll bars and none of the weight is supported by the fiberglass. I'm doing the JK Safari Cab to the same spec.

The prototype side panels have kick-out rear vent windows, they're open in a lot of the photos:

I'm thinking it would be inconvenient to have to go to the back of the Jeep to open or close them, so I'm going to power them. A trip to the local u-pull yard yielded a pair of power vent window motors, here's a photo of one of them sitting next to the manual flip lever for comparison. These motors are the perfect size, shape and opening distance, and were only $10 each.

In this next photo I'm test-fitting it; it fits very nicely, I'll just have to make mounting brackets for them.

I made up a bracket to mount the power vent motor, here's a test:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_BTZNill98 I'm beginning the design of an accessory wiring harness for the JK Safari Cab, so since these work nicely support for power vents will be part of the harness. I'm also planning to include switched and unswitched power, plus support for the JK's interior lighting. The rear wiper and defroster won't be part of this harness because those will just plug into the factory hardtop plug in the JK - this harness will be for the extra features. Anything else I should design into the accessory harness?
