Nothing useful because there is nothing to offer. Even SLC commented on a diesel thread saying they wont be doing a swap anytime soon. I forgot exactly why, but if a big company like that cant offer it, Im sure no one here can help. Unless you ship one over seas, which I dont know if thats even possible or have a complete drivetrain (engine, trans, fuel lines and tank, computer, etc)shipped over seas but again I'm not sure thats even possible. Or you can move over seas. Basically none of these are a reality, so basically you're stuck with gas engines.

Theres something to be learned from the ls1 swap thread. One of the small cummins engines would kick ass!

I wrote a long letter to jeep tonight and to the engine producer you posted the link to .....

still confused why no company has made a kit?
I think you will find that Burnsville have done a couple of swaps, not sure if there is a kit available though.

Kelbowski. Selling a diesel-swapped Wrangler Unlimited right now. Pick his brain.

I have just started looking at this as an option. The 4BT commonly comes out of "bread trucks" and is apparently good for 500k. Stock they seem to be around 105 hp and 275 torque. But I read about somebody building a "mild" one of 300 hp and 500 torque. So I really don't know. I know it is a 4 cyl so it may fit. Is it a short version of the 6BT which is similar to what's in the Dodge PU?

I know Advance makes adaptors to fit all kinds of trannys and I've seen mention of them going into Cherokee's, CJ5's FJ40's and old Bronco. Maybe if a Hemi can fit one of these could fit. As to cost - if it could be done for the price of a blower? Of course this would only work in non inspection states.
I was talkin' to a guy about him wanting to D-Maxing the JK but none the less ..

I have been involved with and seen several Cummins 3.9 4bt single and twin turbos in tj's and yj's and I wish I could stuff MY 5.9 in my JK. Problem is is that the 6bt weighs in @ 1175Lbs .... Then again my Dodge has Dana 60 front to hold the flippin thing up and Dana 80 rear to deal with 1K ftlbs it puts out in modded form that rules out my dream swap.

The 4bt when tuned is an awesome package as size, weight and output make it ideal for Jeep swaps. I have not seen a LBZ or LLY stuffed into a Jeep(LB 7's need not apply) yet and I am willing to bet that the problem is frame width up front on the Jeep. The D-Max block is wide at the bottom when compared to the 5.7 and 6.1 blocks that are commonly swapped in.

This is by far the cleanest tt 4bt install I have yet to see and I believe it put down 207hp, 449 tq that weekend on the dyno. That was 6 years ago and alot has happened just in injection scince then. CLEAN power meaning no heavy soot (Like my volcanic overfueled rig) which was nice because it kept heads tilted sideways wheneer he started it to drive away somewhere and left a stupid 2nd gear burner

That's very cool and I'm envious of the overseas JK diesels but theres nothing in this thread useful to actually converting/swapping the motor.

The most useful thing was the reference to flea bay for a salvaged liberty motor which is evidently around the $2k mark.
here ya go..5.7l Cummins diesel on a 4 door JK..

If you look closely, that a '06 Dodge Ram Mega Cab frame, engine, and driveline. The JK body was grafted on with extensive modifications.

Not exactly the home-brew engine swap.
