For anyone looking for axe/shovel mount security, check-out Offroad Unlimited's Axe/Shovel Bracket. It is one of the few that are locking. Can be installed on just about any surface.

I am using 2 KC tube light mounts on my rear carrier, with the axe/shovel bracket added. Very strong and secure.

The axe and shovel don't budge at all. I can shake the whole rig by the shovel handle.

Gents
Awsome looking Expedition Rigs here!

Because someone here mentioned/asked about Europe and Diesels HERE you have a buildup of an export Common Rail VM 2,8 Diesel JK from Germany. More information/pics about/with this German Xpedition JKU Diesel Project can be spotted HERE.

As for mine Diesel JKU since 2011 I've started de build-up.My Diesel JKU Yellow Melon is on its way to become an expedition vehicle. Trail pics HERE (over here few are Petrol JK :-)).

Unfortunately the only photo I have is from parking at work. Though she's not quite as modified as everyone else's, I still love her!

Tepui RTT on a lowered Congo Cage, Hi Lift mount, VDP end caps, etc.

Is the tent upheld by the ladder on the front of the tent only??? Is it stable? Seems like it would tip over to one side or another with any significant weight. How is it designed. Can't really tell from the pics.

That portion of the tent is supported by both the ladder and a sort of interlocking channel that lines up when the two halves are oped together; but yes, for the most part it's held up by the ladder. It's a pretty standard roof tent.

It's stable, it rocks a bit because there's a bit of play in the rack and some squish in the suspension, but it's no worse than sleeping on the top bunk of my Westfalia. It's actually really comfortable.

Nice setup! As far as not being setup like others, it takes time and unfortunately money. Even if you never spend another dime on modifications, just enjoy what you do have. If it wasn't for money, we'd all be ok! Like you, I enjoy my stone white JK as well.
