For anyone looking for axe/shovel mount security, check-out Offroad Unlimited's Axe/Shovel Bracket. It is one of the few that are locking. Can be installed on just about any surface.
I am using 2 KC tube light mounts on my rear carrier, with the axe/shovel bracket added. Very strong and secure.

Because someone here mentioned/asked about Europe and Diesels HERE you have a buildup of an export Common Rail VM 2,8 Diesel JK from Germany. More information/pics about/with this German Xpedition JKU Diesel Project can be spotted HERE.
As for mine Diesel JKU since 2011 I've started de build-up.My Diesel JKU Yellow Melon is on its way to become an expedition vehicle. Trail pics HERE (over here few are Petrol JK :-)).

It's stable, it rocks a bit because there's a bit of play in the rack and some squish in the suspension, but it's no worse than sleeping on the top bunk of my Westfalia. It's actually really comfortable.
