I'm hoping to get back to Moab in 2016. I want to do the White Rim Trail. So I want to have my trailer ready for that.
WD-40 actively causes rust. You may want to consider a Graphite Lubricant.
Good for temperature extremes and doesn't attract dirt like oils or greases do.

Depending on the axle quality you may want to upgrade your hubs and bearings. Most of those are only rated for like 40mph and smaller tires. The assemblies are not that much and you can get a jeep matching lug pattern.
