No problem. And if you PM me an e-mail address, I can send you a .gpx file with which you can view where I traveled on Google Earth. The file is also compatible with many GPS devices, so you could just follow my route. Here's what it looks like on GE (apologies if your browser can't properly display large images) ...

I'll definitely hit you up before I head up that way.
Final video for Death Valley is now online: Titus Canyon. This completes the playlist, if you've been waiting for that to sit down and watch it all. Entire playlist is about 48 minutes, but the last eight are a stills slideshow of the scenery and flowers.

say hi. Hope it is/was ok that I mentioned that. If not then PM me.
Stay save out there.
Each weekend my wife, 2 1/2 year old and I are out and about hitting different areas. My RDOs are Sunday through Tues/Weds depending on the week. Yesterday we messed around the south side of valley of fire near some mines and settler cabin(s).
Can you post a photo of the rear Gobi/LOD bumper bracketry where it connects to the frame? I just picked up a GOBI and it appears that they both use the same bolts, I want to ensure I install it correctly.
I have two NATO cans--the real, made in Great Britain things--and three of the Briggs and Stratton jerry cans. The B&S are horrible. First, the nozzle sucks because it's difficult to use and you're guaranteed to spill fuel all over if you try. That's not really a big deal because I use a siphon hose anyway. But, because of that nozzle they have a cap that is removable. So I've had several stolen (the NATO cans cap is attached). And there is no place that I ever found (stopped looking a couple years ago) to replace the missing caps. I even contacted some plastics manufacturing company, which was kind enough to mail me at no charge a couple caps and seals, but they are different. Regardless, even the originals did not seal properly. It was downright dangerous having gas slosh out of the cans (especially when you consider that my cook area is right on the other side of where they are mounted). Finally, because the NATO cap is attached and the way it is attached, on my racks they cannot be opened when locked in place. Which means some jokester can't drop a little salt, sugar, sand into the can. The B&S are vulnerable to such mischief.
Also, because of two upcoming trips that will involve more miles than I can drive even with my two NATO cans, I'm going to pick up some smaller, 2-1/2 gallon cans to strap on top of the Jeep. You'll see those in the future, but I don't have yet. My traveling companion already has some picked out that he says are super, but I don't know which ones they are.

My nozzle is also Swiss. Cost more then my can but zero leaks and mates perfectly with them. I wanted to make the a bit stronger so I cleaned them up, repainted and added some bed liner to the bottom third. They have been with me for probably 50-60 trips and not a single issue other then them being heavy and a tad slow to pour lol. Plus I like that they have removable I'd markers for the type of fuel in them. If memory serves me I got them from a Swiss surplus shop out of Louisiana and they mailed them to me. They also sell Uni mogs and such.
