Expedition Modded Jeeps - Let's see 'em!!
Haven't posted in forever. Have made a few changes over the last 6 months. Put on new fenders - old ones were way too narrow. Got tired of the sides of my jeep always being filthy and the mud that the tires were tossing up was getting really old. The PSCs doesn't completely resolve this issue, but they're a lot better then the ones that were on there. I also changed out my tire carrier and added a Titan Tank 10g fuel cell. This was expensive (the mods to re-inforce the tailgate and the tank were just over 1k US). Oh, and the hinge setup I'm using isn't enough to support the tank and a 35" tire. The main reason I went with these guys is I already had their hinges from last summer. Those were great as added insurance to carry a 35" tire. Unfortunately it's just the rest of their setup that isnt' doing what I want/need it to do. However I've been told that a Teraflex setup will, so that's been added to my list - however as I rarely need the tank and when I do I'm not usually in/out of the trunk area, I'm likely fine for a while. As for my trailer, other then building a table/shelf I haven't done much of anything with it. Well other than use it a lot over the summer!
Anyway, enough of all that, I know everyone is just here for the pictures.

Table/shelf for the trailer. Tested this out this weekend - works amazingly. Still need to paint it and sand down the corners, but I'm very happy with it. It's high and strong enough that I can put my 11g water jug on it when I need to wash my hair and stable enough that I can bump it and it doesn't move when cooking. Thinking I'll paint it silver (so I don't run into it in the dark after having too much beer) with several coats of resin or whatever added for a clearcoat layer.

Two Jeep JKs. 44 days. 9,450 miles from Abottsville, British Columbia (BC) to Chief Mountain border crossing, Montana. Side trips to Inuvik, Northwest Territory (NT) on Dempster Hwy; Deadhorse, Alaska (AK) on Dalton Hwy; Prince Rupert, BC; Seward, AK; Skagway, AK. Arctic Circle crossed in both AK and NT. Arctic Ocean reached. Three US and two Canadian national parks. One set of brakes, three windshields, two tires, one muffler, one driving light, all lost to the route. What an amazing adventure. I will also be sharing more on YouTube, and my FB and IG pages.

How close do you have to get to a black bear to be able to take a picture like that? All of the pictures are great! Might have to borrow one for a new desktop background at work if you don't mind.
