I have a gobi on my 4dr and the mileage only went down 1-2 mpg. I have the stealth version which is a little lower in the front then the ranger. Overall I have been happy with the rack and it is working great for me.

Hey SAS the rack looks great. I have been keeping my eye out for one of the Gobi racks. Do you have any pictures of how to tilt back the rack? What kind / how many bolts or fittings have to be taken apart to tilt it? Just curous as I was wondering how much time it would take to tilt down, put the softtop up or down, and then put the rack back up.

The different just from looking at their website looks like its the height of the bar on the windshield. The stealth rack is just lower / smaller in the front where the Ranger rack is taller and has room for bigger lights.

I didn't get around to it this weekend while wheeling, I'm waiting for the quick disconnects then I'll do time what it takes. Otherwise it's just 4 bolts up front and it swivels and however fast/slow you are on removing your soft top. With the bolts as it is right this moment it's only about 10 minutes and I have it tilted , faster with the quick connects I'm sure.

Updated original post with new pics from weekend.

I"ve had my Gobi on for about two months now and I love it. I got the full floor
welded when I ordered mine I dont remember seeing the quick disconnects
on the web site, I'll have to go back and look.

I use mine mostly for hauling camping gear, but hope to get a new kayak this year.
