I'd fight that ticket if at all possible; I know nothing may come of it, but that's just not right.

Even if it does end up your fault, your insurance should still cover ALL damage to your Jeep!

 

I plan too. I really just want them to hear my side of the story, worst thing is I'll have to pay it, but I wanna have my say. Not too happy they wrote the ticket without hearing anything from me first. Oh well, thety do what they gotta do, but that guy shoulda got one for something, he didn't even try stopping, swerved and plowed.

What sucks is I'm such a careful damn driver, havent been in an accident or got a ticket in 20yrs. I tryed to goose it outta the way, no dice, too late. He was fyin though, didnt see him until it was too late.

 

Agreed... Well, glad that the wife and kids weren't in the Jeep when this happened. That could've been a little rough.

Man that sucks to hear that you got the short end of the stick on the ticket, you could fight it but it all depends on the type of judge you get and what mood that judge is in when you go to court. From your story it sound like the accident was real bad but when i look at your pic i see that the rails sucked up a lot of the impact. Im sure you have your rails mounted to the frame so i would have the mechanics take a real good look at the frame near the rails. Glad your ok though and its good to see that the JK gave that other car an ass whooping By the way what kind of rails do have on your JK?
