Glad you are ok.
They're just bolted to the tub, looking underneath it seems the rear mount is tweaked abit which rolled the bottom of the tub a tad, no biggie, just hoping the frame isn't bent from the impact cause my gastank skid has marks on it aswell withe the tire being mashed up into the frame.

Man, that sucks on all sorts of levels...I work these accidents day in and day out, somebody stops to do the right thing, and the impatient SOB behind them gets antsy and pulls around usually striking the guy pulling out...And every time its a FTY ticket for the guy pulling out. Unless you can prove contributary negligence....plus, the courts see this all the time and dont really hit you were it hurts....most of the time tickets are issued at accidents to assist the insurance companies, not because we like to....Anyway, at least your not hurt which is the most important thing...Good Luck!

So sorry to hear this. If you go fight the ticket, take a google shot of where the accident was, if there were blind spots, trees, anything that would give you the upper hand. Get a model for your Jeep and one for his car and show the judge where you were and where he was. If you can, find anything in your cities driving laws and ordinances. Judges can't argue against black and white. The problem is, when people go in to fight for a ticket, they use 'gray' areas, or opinions. Stick to facts, pictures and laws. You might have to pay the ticket but see if the judge will not add points to your license. That's the big issue. Good luck and let us know.
Glad you're okay.

Ok, this was the road I was turning in on and how far away the redlight is, the red car is in the direction I was facing to turn in. The also the preceding signs that lead up to where I turned across the 4 lane into the EXXon. The street that runs next to the Exxon is the one with the school down it. It was between 1:30 and 2pm I think when the accident happened, the ticket I got has no time written down, just the date.

Scool and bustop signs leading up to the site of the wreck, To give perspective, where I turned to cross was about 50-75ft from the school road

Also, fyi, I talked to the dealership guy I know that the old guy bought the new car and he picked it up today. He told the old guy that I had expressed concern about how he was and the old guy said " I'm gonna sue the shit outta that sombitch" end quote.
