Man that sucks to hear that you got the short end of the stick on the ticket, you could fight it but it all depends on the type of judge you get and what mood that judge is in when you go to court. From your story it sound like the accident was real bad but when i look at your pic i see that the rails sucked up a lot of the impact. Im sure you have your rails mounted to the frame so i would have the mechanics take a real good look at the frame near the rails. Glad your ok though and its good to see that the JK gave that other car an ass whooping

Just writen cause I can't sleep. plus i'm drunk,somewhat. Ya know if my jk was stock height and still had those stock sidesteps, I'd prolly have several thousand more in fisups( doors woulda been f'd, stocksidesteps gone, whole side qtr panel f'd.) Hell, my 37in toyo is still holdin a bead on a crager soft 8 that is totally way f'd. I'm gonna see what they come up with replacement costs, labor and shit, then see wtf i can get to replace that shit $ wise and see if the ins co will work with me on some stuff, hell, its my fuckin jeep. I'd rather just replace everything with what I want even if it sets me back a few grand over what they will pay. Fuck it, I may just buy all the shit myself, put it on. I don't really give a shit about the body dent, I was on my way to the bank to deposit money so I could order some rocker skinz from Camp anyway, that'd cover it. I've f'in drank to much, i'm pissed, feel fuckin lost, now gonna have to flash my superchip settings back stock( just got that mutha too)(Tomorrow takin all my tools and crap outta the jk prolly jack it up and at least put the spare on it so my tire on the f'd rim doesnt get torn loading it on the tow truck again.Boy, its really hittin me now, i'm a f'in sapp and my thumb feels like shit.
Fuck, may just go to my dads tomorrow, borrow about 5-6000$ and fix the shit myself , whatever the ins co pays give it back to him then ( oh, i don't get nuthin for somethin from him btw, you guys just don't know, he's a millionaire and GIVES $$$ to the other kids, me, no way, work it off) added that swo yall don't think i'm some kinda fuckin spoonfed fuckhead.If I was, id have 60's hemi, etc. Hell, he bought my brother a fuckin $25,000 Solstice cause he didn't want to drive his limited edition camaro everyday, just for fuckin car shows. My brother comes to see him about once a mo0nth, takes him to eat( which my dad pays for) and then ends up getting a couple hundred dollars outta him for gas money for the month. Soooo, im ramblin, thanks for the glad ur ok's, really does mean alot. Most of my friends are on here, I can attest to that from being in moab.And even the ones i havent met, here u guys make me feel at home, even though im an asshole on here sometimes, i just have a different sense of humor i guess. Tomorrow, guess i'll have to cut grass now.

Hey man i feel you my first car was a Camaro that got T-Boned by a bunch of Mormans going to church, had that car for about 3 months before the accident. The azzhole probably wasn't gonna get a good trade in on his car, so he decided to crash it and take the insurance money.. As for PD, they shouldn't be issuing summons' that they didn't observe PERIOD.. Here in NY I can't write someone unless I personally observe it.. You should get a good lawyer to fight that summons.. If you're found guilty of failure to yield, the insurance company may frown upon your account of the accident.. They look for any excuse to not pay, or jack up your premiums.. Glad to hear you're okay, but it's time to be on the defensive.. Hope it turns out well for you.. Good luck bud!!

Damn mk...I'm sorry to hear about your accident but I'm glad to hear you are ok and the family wasn't in the Jeep. I'm not sure about where you live, but many states have some sort of a last clear chance rule that requires people to try to avoid accidents. Something to consider in case this guy tries to come after you for his damage.
