Got F'n T-boned/edit:New parts ordered!
Dude, so sorry to hear about this.. that really f'n sucks. Being a firefighter, we respond to so many car accidents caused by old folks. Me and my friends have a little thing we always look out for.. Lincolns. Almost always driven by the 70 and older crowd because "It's what I drove during the war". Its scary. Got rid of my bike because of too many close calls from those damn blue hairs. Good luck bro...
That really does suck. Your rig was definately envied by me and a lot of others who have the D30 and wantd to run 37" tires. I would toast a beer to you, but GO1 says I can't do that here so I'll just
while you rebuild it up again.

I have noticed several comments about older drivers. Before we go too far with it, let's look a little closer. (I am rapidly approaching the end of the "best" age group.)
The three best age groups cover the three ten year groups from 30 to 60.
61 to 70 is still better than 21 to 30.
71 to 80+ is better than 16 to 20.
Moving violations steadily decline from young to to old.
The worst by far is age 16 to 20.
So, if you are going to suggest getting certain age groups off the road, the figures suggest under 30, and over 70.
My experience with young drivers:
Last year my Jeep was struck (right rear corner of bumper) by a car whose early 20's female driver failed to yield. Her insurance paid the bills.
The year before that, I was almost t-boned on the driver's side by a car whose late teens driver ran a stop sign going at least 60 mph. He was on a 30 mph road. To this day, I don't know what made me SLAM the brakes on as I approached the intersection. I was not able to stop, but it slowed me down enough to have the car pass in front of me.

Also, fyi, I talked to the dealership guy I know that the old guy bought the new car and he picked it up today. He told the old guy that I had expressed concern about how he was and the old guy said " I'm gonna sue the shit outta that sombitch" end quote.
OMG! A$$@%&! He's obviously not hurt. You are a witness to that and so is the Dealership guy. What could he possibly get? His car is totalled. Your insurance will pay for that. He's probably retired so there's no loss of income. I would tell your insurance company what the guy told the dealer, about sueing you. It sucks but he really can't get more than the maximum limit you have on your insurance.
I'm so sick of people just sueing everyone at the drop of a hat.

Fuckhead old bastard( sorry ronjenx
) When it happened, I jumped out to make sure he was ok first. Several people crowded around and the paramedics pulled over within about a minute of the accident. There is a hospital right there, ambulances in and out all the time. So I went back to my jeep. I in no way think it's just because of his age, I just think he's a mean old bastard. Dealership friend thinks so too. I'm gonna see if he'll do a written statement on this guy just for the ticket purposes. Also, can anyone give me advice on how to handle the ins adjustor, I'd rather just do all the work myself, I know the fixers are gonna f'up somethin.
