I just bought a RAM grab handle u-bolt mount for an ipad. I plan to swap u bolts to a square bend u bolt and mount it to the passenger side grab handle. I will post pics when I get everything together.

question about the cop mount.... are you still able to get to your radio? is it hard to do? or is this set up with the cop mount to be used with an after market stereo or something?

The iPad you see on cops pictures is mine. I loaned it to him to build the iPad2 mount. The craftsman ship is good but there is some design flaws. The damn thing keeps falling out! I told Cop but don't think he fixed it. I can tell you it's great on long trips. You turn your volume up and use the volume control on your iPad screen. Really nice to use music and navigation apps on the road. He also built it to use the camera on your iPad. A cool feature for trail vids. Just strap it down. And to answer your question. You have to pull the iPad off to access your radio.

Cops design is cool but $239 for a piece of molded plastic is not overpriced, it's WAY OVERPRICED!!!! They need to get their heads out of the clouds and get real with the price and I would buy it, but at $239 I will design my own version, test it , then work on a marketing plan, everyone stay tuned, mine will be better and sell around $129 max.

How is $129 for a piece of plastic not overpriced? What exactly is the threshold for plastic molded mods? I see a lot of threads stating that company xyz is crazy to sell stuff at certain prices. Inquiring minds want to know :-)

Not to rain on anyone's parade but if COP can get $239 for his gear, good for him... Just sayin'.
