I was born in Massa2shits, have lived & worked all over the US and world. I'm on the western slope of Colorado (3 years now) and I'm HOME. I'm 2 hours from Moab, 1/2 hour to Grand Mesa, little over 2 hours to Ouray & Teluride & Leadville CO, 1 1/2 to Aspen & Vail. PERFECT place to live for wheelin. I'm not wealthy by any means, not even enough $$ to get mods untill my JK (only vehicle other than company work truck) but I'm happy & content here.
I'm not bragging in a rub-it-in-people's-faces way, but to get people to come out for the time of their lives. I want others to experience the joy I have living here.
You ever get a chance to get out here I'll show you the beauty of the Rockies. If $$ is to tight to do so, We've got a spare bedroom available.

I've been to Colorado 5 or 6 times over the years...
my wife's only hesitation into perusing west coast jobs is that both of our moms live alone and we help support them,my wife just worries about bring too far away but that's what airlines are for!
We already live 200 miles from our moms.
is trail access as plentiful as folks make it sound...
To be closer to Vegas would be a big plus
can you tell me the closest big city near you?
need to what hospitals are big enough and who have openings for her specialty

I've lived in SoCal all my life and I'm kinda thinking of relocating. I've found a lot of interest in the area you are talking about, actually. Seems like the Southwestern region of CO would be perfect for me. I plan on going for a long drive around that area after this coming Easter Jeep Safari. If I have a few days to kill and I want to see some amazing places to live, could you suggest a few?
