My wife and I just got our vacation cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the northwest corner of NC. It's about a mile south of the Blue Ridge Parkway mile marker 254 on Sheets Gap Overlook. There's a gravel road at the overlook that takes you straight to our house. Sits at about 3,000 ft with really nice views. We have a little over 3 acres, but our adjacent neighbor has 500 acres of hunting land. He's become a VERY good neighbor and close friend of mine in the past few weeks....
