Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

I love the fact that, worldwide, we all share the love of our Jeeps. We all have that common thread.

I couldn't agree more, I never liked Jeeps and as soon as they made the JK it ticked all the boxes! Now I understand why were all addicted to these prone to problems/unstoppable off road machines.

Is your battery on the RHS? I have a 2011 CRD and the battery is on the LHS.
I refer to left and right when the vehicle is viewed from the rear!

I had no idea the city of Sydney was filled with wild wilderness...hehe. Great pics. What kind of problems had you had?

I also hate that there are no recovery points front or rear. I will need to modify the front bumper to allow the factory tow hooks. I plan to use a receiver hitch on the rear.

I have already relocated the number plate to the U.S. location and removed the mud scoop on the rear bumper.
Because the Japanese number plate is slightly larger than the U.S. plate the holes did not line up so I had to fabricate a mount point for the factory plate mount.

View from underneath the bumper after modification.

Looks way better once you did the mod. Good job.

Yes, on my LHD model the battery sits to the right of the engine!
