Ok. I had it backwards then. So, the lower the number the more the wheel is pushed away from the Jeep? Like a 3.75 will stick out farther the a 4". Is this correct?

@Big Buger
What size and brand wheels are those and did you have to do any grinding or spacers or anything? They look great! I tried black rock 952 15x8 3.75"BS on mine and they wouldn't even sit flush against the hub because of a weird extrusion on the back of the rim that extended beyond the flat part with the holes for the studs. I'm hoping the procomps are different even though they look exactly the same from all the pictures I've seen.

I am getting 15's. I already bought tires. Please tell me the pros and cons between going with a 8 vs a 10" rim. I havent seen anyone explain this. Thank you.

i can't remember what model they are but they are pro comp wheels 15"x9 with 4.5" back space. No need for wheel spacers or anything. The tires are 35x12.5r15 km2. If you still have the rims with 3.75 back space you should be able to get wheel spacers to get them to fit. But not totally positive about that.

Shouldnt a 3.75 backspace give more clearance from the caliper then a 4.5?

We've been running 10" wide wheels on our past 3 Jeeps. Main reason is that I wanted the additional width, plus I think the 12.5" wide tires flex better on a 10" wide wheel. I know some say that you'll pop a bead on the wider tire, yet we run ~12PSI and have never (knock on wood) had a blown bead.

I attached a couple of pics of our 15x10 wheels.
