Painting a JK Olive Drab
#184
You aren't the only one. When Chevym14 and I originally discussed the plan to do this I was very hesitant and I delayed painting her for weeks out of fear. I finally broke down and did it and can honestly say I'd do it all over again if I bought another JK.
Its nice to know I have no fear of getting a scratch on her as its a very easy fix.
The new camo paint is Krylon Camo Fusion which is probably some of the best spray paint Ive ever used out of a can. The camo job is now several months old and still looks like the day it was painted.
Most people are fooled into believing it is a real Army Jeep. Being in the Army myself for 20 years I can't tell you how many people stop and stare at it.
I need to get some better pics up this week.
