let me know when you guys go, im down, i heard about a place called casparis or something like that like an hour or so north east of pittsburgh that sounds pretty decent, its mentioned in the east coast board
You have to act quick on those! I bought a silver 4 door from Davey this spring, just happened to see it on Thursday night, and called Friday morning with my deposit. Someone else showed up Saturday to buy it. Then later I seen a black 4door rubicon, called the next morning, and should have put down the deposit, but for some reaon I thought about it for a few hours, called about 4pm to buy it, and someone already spoke for it.
He's great to deal with, I've bought several in the last 1 1/2 including my 05 unlimited which now sports a 5.3 V-8.

Well, I only got 1 JK, it is a silver 4 door, actually came from CA, and belonged to a member on this board, still had the JKForum stickers on the jeep which led me to here.
I looked at your jeep last time I was up there, that trip I picked up an 06 yellow clean title rubicon, and 02 TJ salvage that only needed a windshield and frame fixed.
I almost pulled the trigger on your jeep for a grand more than you picked it up for at least. I have a 97 that I am V-8ing and 1 toning now, and had just pulled it in the garage and started the week before going up there, I was trying to talk myself into putting it back together and picking up this jeep and building it. Once he started lowering the price on the net, I knew I should have bought it. You got a NICE find! The old saying "think long, think wrong" has bitten me a few times.
Keep me informed on the maden trip also, You are only 3 hours away or so, so I'd be game.

the red rubi that he just had from a theft recovery was almost in the family too ... if dad hadn't been buyin a new 90hp outboard for the whailer, his drool would have claimed it.
and i got $20 says as soon as the cottage sells my dad check's davey's every day for the next TJ rubi to pass by.
plus ... as much as i hate to say it ... i've concidered gettin one and swapping the leaves/axles and the I6-4.6L stroker plus the 5spd/d300 from my YJ into a 4-door comp-cut JK. but i don't know that i could cannibalize my baby that way ....
That red rubicon was a great deal for sure, it didn't last long at all. Here is my pride and joy Davey's special.
2005 LJ unlimited, it had 8500 miles on it when I bought it. I bought a new frame to start with, and it kinda went downhill from there!
