It is quite possible it slipped a few splines in the rollover. I would still try adjusting the draglink first before really screwing with the pitman/steering box. Sadly if the pitman did jump a few splines then you are probably stuck getting a new steering box as the sector shoft itself is not an idividually replacable unit.

I haven't actually heard of it happening in the JK, which is why i would stick with adjusting the draglink first. I have seen it happen in some older vehicles (mostly fullsize) and I think I have read of one case where a JK sector shaft actually broke. In general the JK steering box is fairly stout, the most common issues are internal to it, not physical breakage of the sector shaft or seperating from the frame.

cheapest doesn't always mean the best ... what module has the most option and is the most usable?

Not the right question. The right question is what do you want it to do.

Superchips Programmer = Power wise its the biggest bang for the buck and alot of people happy with it. Alot of its supposed options are not enabled though.

Hypertech = Good programmer, all functions work, not as much power increase for the price paid. Still alot of happy customers though.

AEV Procal = No power programming or tunning. Can reset many functions and change others. Fastest programmer out there, easiest to use, and cheapest. If your not looking to "add power" this is the way to go.

yeah, the more options the better ... and more power would be nice too. is it better to get the superchips and procal for the most power and most option, or will the hypertech do it all with just not quite the power?

I have the Hypertech and am happy with it. Its not like suddenly having 2 more cylinders, just a little easier to get the 35s moving and a little less need to downshift on the hills. Its noticable if you know where to look. I have heard great things about supperchips too, not knocking them.

I also use the Procal (yes the "stack" fine) to adjust for tires, gears, DRL, codes, etc. as it is quick and fast and portable (i keep it and the card that comes with it in the glovebox).
