On another note... I'm surprised the airbag light is on but no codes. Are their functioning airbags in there? As far as the ESP/Traction.... fix your steering wheel.... should be good than.

Bad advice: I don't botheer half the time with esp/traction/bas.... I have a cut off switch and keep it all off most the time..... again.... bad advice
that might be something i do in the future for sure, but since there is still a chance i might sell this thing to pay for my student loans ... i want to fix everything the right way first.

PS ... i tell myself that cuz i hate debt, but chances are super slim.

edit: will it turn off the lights and get me past inspection so i can fix it later????

any shop with the state cert ... but to get the rebuilt title from the salvage title i have to go to an "enhanced" inspection station ...

on that note however ... it didn't seam to have any issues.
i noticed you're running X wheels up front and Saharas in the back... the tires will be taller in the back then in the front, this will make them turn less rotations to keep up with the front tires... so your JK is noticing that your front tires are spinning faster than the back, this could cause the ESP to go off.

my steering wheel is not centered when driving strait.
lol, this is also a huge factor for the lovely esp light to go off...their is a sensor that detects the angle of the steering wheel and compares it to the wheel speed at each corner, if the wheel is off center it throws this comparison outside of the computers limits and it shuts down the system (partly) and turns the ESP light on

Glad we could help.

Do you know if the airbag went off in the rollover and was replaced?

I hate to be the one to say it, but for the airbag light you might want to take it to a dealer and have them flash the computer.

EDIT:

Before going to the dealer you might want to try one of the handheld programers.....mine has a function to clear all DTC codes. Obviously they will come back if the fault persist, but it is nice to have the clear all function when you fix something.

DOUBLE EDIT: Have you checked that the wiring harness to the seat sensors are plugged in???

anyone ever had issues with connections after being in water and having the light come on?

when you first start the jeep, the light is off ... then after a few seconds comes on.
