i'll have everything else done before i get to pick up my paid order from 4WD and get the parts from SLC in the mail ... i'll be a mear paint job and glass away from DONE. got a budy checkin with his paint buddy as we speak.

as for patients ... the paint and body work ... dad has been doing the body work and i gota find someone to paint it.
i'm a huge fan of more gear, don't get me wrong. but this will be my DD/toy, i have the YJ to beat on. i drive 80mph on my way to work most days, but i can slow that down some. with a 4.88/6spd/35s, i'll be runnin 76mph at 3000RPM. i figure this little mini-van motor shouldn't mind 3k too much, but don't know enough to be confident running 3k all day every day.
and as much as i hate to say it ... but what gear gets the best gas milage with the 35s. the speed limit around here is 55-65 ... but i never drive that slow.
the YJ has 4.56's, 36 IROKs, but a .74 OD and a lot more power from the stroker, and i love how it drives.
maybe once this Poll for the flares ends i'll post a gear Poll ... lets hear your opinions ppl! also need new carriers, these damn 3.21s leave me high and dry there too. i'm pretty sure i'd put a full carrier locker in the rear (i mean WTF ... get a rubi locker and aloy rubi rear shafts while i'm at it
) but i don't see a need to lock the 30. tell ya what ... someone find me some 4.56 or 4.88 Rubi axles and i'll just buy those.

I say paint the flares but I do like the Sahara Jeep (with just a few extra horses of course)
... not sure why, i just get pissy with body/paint work quick and have never taken the time i need to actually do it right. i can't just take a bolt out or beat it with a 5lb sledge ...
so 3k all day long is the engine's sweet spot? then 4.88 here i come
its funny, plastic is winning on this board, but over on jeepin.com painted is winning. this isn't helping me decide ppl!
the flares are ment to look like tube fenders ... painted would help that look a ton. plastic adds more contrast, but if i'm goin for blacked out then i'm not really going for contrast.

Patients: is any person who receives medical attention, care, or treatment
Patience: is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without becoming annoyed or upset; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties.
i'm an engineer ... not an english major. if there's no red squigly under it, its game on!
edit: and i wasn't totaly wong, you just took it wrong. i don't have the PATIENCE to do body work b/c i don't have the PATIENTS to hone my skill on
