well for one ... its QUADRATEC

and 2, i didn't quite pay that much

but 3, for the mill time, welding, and the materal cost and burn outs ... its not THAT bad of a price.

yes i did! my g/f was quite adamite about it too. i was however much more interested in my Cherry ICEE. they were good and all ... but i've had much better.

My son and I did a rebuild on a 2001 TJ for his first vehicle. We spent over a year working on it before he got his license. Once it was finally done we got it inspected, insured and off he went. It was a great experience for both of us. Too bad he totaled it 6 months later (thank god he was fine but the TJ was trashed). Insurance paid off and I chiped in some funds and he's had his JK for 2 years now. Good luck on this one and try to keep it right side up.

should have taken the $$ and fixed it again with $$ left to mod it and buy the beer! ... er ... rootbeer!

i think i found a shop that i like to paint the jeep ... they are all the same cost cuz they just go off what the damn book says, but this guy was cool.

he also told me about an inspection station that can certify me for a rebuilt title that is WAY closer home. plus the guy is small town and won't hastle me about stuff, just pass the normal inspection and go with it. in and out and on the road!!

i can't wait to drive this thing, its gettin so close!

waitin for a new quote for paint on monday ... found a guy i like.

pickin up the new windshield glass monday to test fit in the frame, make sure it wasn't warped in the fire. straiten as needed and then paint and install. glass installed for $220 + tax
