and it looks like painted flares have had a major rebound in the polls! last i checked plastic was winning with like 2x the votes. i'm still completely undecided ...

 

In that case, don't paint them just yet. You can always go back and pain them down the road...

And the build looks great keep it up!

so anyone out there got any stock black sahara floor mats they don't want??? i'm guessin they say jeep on em ... and will hook to the tabs on the floor. would be great if someone didn't want theirs!

man, the interweb is fun

 

got some paint on the x-member and LCA mount welds. this stuff is the tits, you just gota paint over it cuz it has no UV protectant. Called Chassis Saver, i had the stuff on my DOM steering on the YJ in a vise, and the only places it scratched off was where the metal was marred. i also included a picture of of the axle in my YJ, 1978 cheby d44. all i did was wipe the dirt of, not even a wire brush and over a year later it's still that clean. that's all dirt splashed up from the rain ...

 

None of them say Jeep on them. Not even on my Unlimited Rubicon with every available option on it.

I'd ship them to you, I replaced them with the OEM slush mats the first day I had it, but I'd have to find them first.
