ok, so i've been BUISY tonight. first off i picked up the hood from the pro painter, and it looks HOT! got it on there with all the hardware. the lines aren't quite right ... but so what, i plan to use this jeep.
i also fit the windshield to the roll bars, had to "adjust" things a bit. should be good now. it's not perfect, but with thoughts of a full cage, again, i'm not worried. got the last of the paint sprayed!! it came out pretty good, but the prep wasn't 100% smooth so you can see the ripples thru the smoth clear. i still think at some point i'll end up with a new frame and fenders so they are actually strait ... or i'll end up beatem up till ya can't tell any more
tomorrow i help my cuz move, but i hope to get the windshield bolted on and done before bed. then spend sunday wet-sanding and polishing, and get the front flares on and lights wired. a little more plastic snapped in and the glass put in monday at 3pm. then she's DONE!!
and one final thought, and a thread helper .... since when was Brit hot again??!?

i'd call that progress!!
and WHAT THE FAKK IS THIS!! the '09 windshield center loop, isn't centered!!! wouldn't care if the 08 wasn't cetnered either. i took it off and screwed the left leg into the right hole and she lined up nice!
still gota wet-sand and buff the front fenders and install the flares. i need to mess with the pass visor as well to put it back in. then RTV the seal to the top of the windshield, and get longer bolts to screw the mirrors to the windshield brackets.

looks like i didn't put enough clear on the fenders ... the wet-sand and polish went down to pretty much color. they are flat, but dull. LAME. no time to fix em now, i'll have to re-clear em later.
BUT
all i need is glass to pass inspection!! ok, so maybe the blinkers in the fenders don't work either, that i can't figure out. the lights are good, and all the rest of the blinkers work, but WTF would make the fender lights not work!?
trying 2 different mirror options, what ya'll think?? the plastic one is totally unviewable on the pass side ...
