Do it yourself! You will learn so much and it's fun. If you can get an extra hand that would help too. Just keep reading up and you'll be fine.

As for the steering stabilizer you don't need it for now. You can get a relocate kit but that's all you would need right now.

Also, I'm pretty set on the teraflex leveling kit after reading all the positive talk about it. Is it worth it to also buy the steering stabilizer with it?

Thanks for your help!!
I just installed mine. Took about fours hours myself. The instructions blow. I followed Project-JK's write up on their 2.5" budget boost then I could re-torque to specs he provides. Like previously mentioned do it yourself. First time I installed 4 Dr springs and shocks with a buddy took about 4 hours. Did this myself and same amount of time. I have stock stabilizer on mine.

At the time not a lot of people running the aev, I know the make a quality product as does Teraflex so I though why not some thing different.
I just ordered my spacer kit. It's in the mail now. Are you happy with it?

Thanks for the info and reassurance Mr Ed and catahoula! I'm actually really looking forward to doing it now and feeling proud I did it myself!

You Betcha! Also, if you need any tools check out Harbor Freight. Got all the tools I needed under $50 and that included a 1/2" torgue wrench for $9.99 with cupin! I'm impressed with the torgue wrench and have used it several times to re-torgue including my spacers and wheel. I'll upload some pics when I can get my phone to co-operate with me. I would also loosen the bolts and/ or take off on axle mount on the trackbars while doing kit then set on level ground and re-torque to spec...i believe it was 125 ft lbs. Any problems chime in or let me know i'll give ya my number you can call if you have any questions.
