Here is mine. Six cans on a two door. It has held up very well so far.

Wow! Six cans. Maybe I didn't go thick enough. I only did 2 but it is still going strong over a year later.

Yours looks great.

How did you get decent coverage with only two cans? At two cans i wouldn't have even been able to make the whole tub look black.

Default Thermal photo of Raptor Lined JK 2dr.

So I know this is rather an old thread but it is still a great source of information for anyone who is thinking about bedlining their Jeep. I have just finished with this project and I found this thread to be a huge help in the process. Thank you to all who have contributed.

Here is my $0.02.

I knew that there would be a bit more heat at the floorboards going into this project. You can't remove all the carpet and expect there is no change. So I can say now that it is noticeably warmer on my feet. After I was all finished and put everything back in the Jeep, I was dying to go for a ride. When I got home, I remembered that I have a thermal camera that I could use to "see" how hot the floorboards were.

Here are the photos.

BTW, I did not take any "before photos", unfortunately. I wasn't thinking far enough ahead to do that. Anyhow, maybe I will stuff the old carpet back into the drivers side if I get a chance, just to see how much the difference is.

How many layers was that in your floorboards? I just finished up a TJ and "thought" there was less heat penetration than before.

I'm in Chesapeake if you want to do "before" photos with the heat goggles.

Really it was just one good thick layer. I used all 4 liters of Raptor Liner and put it on extra thick on the locations where the most wear will be.

I think tomorrow I will put the carpet back in on the drivers side and then go for a ride. Since both sides heat almost equally, I will be able to compare between the passenger and drivers side.

I did probably 3-4 layers plus super thick in the footwells but this was in a tj. Hmmmm, I know they have less real estate but I can't imagine that much less.

Did you ever do this test with the carpet in? This is what I'm most concerned with. I took my carpet out last week because it had gotten wet and noticed when I rode that it was a bit warmer. Granted this was with no liner.

Default How has it held up over time?

Curious how the Raptor liner has held up over time...
Fading?
Scratching?
Touch up?

Thanks!
