What was done to your JK this week?
im going to take the doors off and then cover up the the door except the key hole and then just spray rustoleum flat black over the chrome. shouldnt be too hard, i painted my side marker lights without taking them off the jeep in a similar way lol
I installed my Teraflex 2.5 coil lift kit. 6 1/2 hours by myself on a lift. Front springs/ bump stop extensions were a total PITA. Ended up using a coil compressor for the passenger side.

The fire department's report said that it was en electrical fire, but I am 100% sure that was not the cause. The first thing that happened was some type of leak. There was fluid dripping onto the ground that had pooled up and was burning. I'm guessing it was a blown seal to the transmission? I don't know. But after I put the fire out that was burning on the ground, flames erupted from under the hood. I think whatever it was, it must have sprayed onto the manifold. That is my best guess with a limited knowledge of mechanics. I'm fairly ignorant when it comes to this type thing...
