JK Show & TellWhether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.
so how are you liking the Line-X interior? Did you do it yourself? How much did it cost if you dont mind me asking? Also, did you notice a huge difference in heat or road noise?
I have to ask, does this stuff just peel off when you wash or wheel it? I keep reading about how you can just peel off th over spray.
Yes it does peel off. From my experience it all depends where you put it. I would really only recommend it on things like grills, cowls and other little things (out of harms way) on the Jeep. I learned today that it doesn't like things that have to be taped off. Like today when I sprayed my hinges, it is hard to get a clean line when you peel the tape because it dries very fast and forms a layer that sticks to the thing you are painting and obviously the tape too. So in the end yes it does peel off, but it takes a some elbow grease to get it going, but once its starting to peel there is nothing to it. I would stay away from things like spraying wheels because wheeling would scratch and peel it very easily. It has been on my grill for a few months now and has held up great. It has seen plenty of bugs, dirt, a little mud, and plenty of dust. It washes of very easily too. It has the texture of bedliner too. I think it is perfect for grills but to be honest that is about it.
I know that was a lot and confusing sometimes but I think/hope I got the point across. If you used it and saw what it does this would all seem very clear and simple.
