JK Show & Tell Whether they're just poser shots in your driveway or hardcore action shots on the trail, if you've got photos or videos of your Jeep JK Wrangler (or any JK for that matter that you think is worth showing off, inside or out), we want to see them so please post them here! Likewise, if you are wanting to see a photo of something specific like an aftermarket JK part or poser shot with a specific setup, this is the place to ask for it.

What was done to your JK this week?

Yep, painted it myself but in retrospect I wish I hadn't. I did self etching primer first and then several coats of Rustoleum (as other forum members recommended) with wet sanding between coats. It's cold here and we tried to paint it in a "warm" garage but it seems like the paint just didn't cure. I even had it hanging over a space heater for 4 days. The slightest tap makes the paint chip off. It will survive winter but I plan on taking it apart and repainting in the spring or having it powdercoated.

But thanks! Other members have had good luck with doing it themselves.

Well it looks really good! I be getting the Brawler lite with in the next few months here and I'm wondering if I should paint it myself or have it powdercoated. I shouldn't have a problem with temp and curing here in Socal so I guess I might try painting it first and if it doesn't turn out then I'll have someone pc it. Thanks for the quick response!

Thanks!! So nice to get some gecko love since there seems to be a lot of hate on that color.

Yep, painted the shackles myself too with the Mopar paint.
