Cut a piece of 3/4" exterior plywood to fit. Covered it with the appropriate color exterior colored carpet and bolted it to the tube using eye bolts. That will give me tie down locations if I want to use it for carrying things.

Don't waste your money on a chip or throttle body spacer.

Tuner is the only way to do it right.

X2. A tuner is way more complete, adjustable parameters and you will not have to waste the money on a chip when you buy a tuner down the road.

Cobra 29 LX; Arizona Rocky Road mount; Firestik M2 mount. Drilling holes and cutting internal tub structure had me concerned, but after the first hole it was all good.

What kind if bracket is that you mounted your
CB on? I used a (black) shelf bracket, zip tied the Power wires and coax inside it.

That is a Arizona Rocky Road overhead CB mount. I was thinking of making my own, but decided to just buy one. They also give you enough wire with a 30amp blade fuse to go from the battery to the top of the passenger side windshield. I placed the power and coax outside of the mount just in case I have to troubleshoot.

Also notched the bottom of the Firestik M2 mount similar to the drilled mirror mod incase water finds its way inside.
