Just installed a k&n CAI and a viper throttle body. Went from 12 to 16.7 mph highway. Couldn't be happier. It's got a loud low growl. And the throttle response is crazy noticeable

How much did that run if you don't mind me asking? Thinking of getting that too.

The K&N was about 250, and I swapped some gear for the brand new throttle body. I read up in the forum, and it looks like other people have gotten their throttle body's from thefastman.com.

Default 2012 JK AIRAID CAI Install / Review

After much research, I installed the AIRAID "DRY" Cold Air Intake on my 2012 JK Unlimited, Altitude

AIRAID, did it right, directions, quality and ease of installation was awesome!

Performance - I have the automatic and with 35's it was a little hesitant/sluggish from a stop position. WELL this certainly made the difference, quick from the stop, sounds very good with a deep throaty sound when you initially hit the gas, and when you hit the 4000 RPM mark, it kicks in again with that great AIRAID deep throaty sound. As for gas mileage, I don't know yet, but don't really care with what I have seen so far. Amazon had it for $266 delivered.

Highly recommend this, especially for the automatics.

Default 6K Nose Job

My '13 Rubi crossed 6000 miles this week, so I gave her a nose job!

This is the first time I've ever tried anything like this, and I was surprised how easy the job was. Great instructions from Drake on how to pull the grill, and loads of info out there about plastidipping the grill. It's a little "crinkly" in spots, from too much dip, but I did it... and it's all mine! Painting the Drake grille inserts to match the paint wasn't too bad, although I started with the black inserts, so it took a lot of coats. Probably shoulda started with the brushed version.

No matter -- it's done, and I love it!
