Lobster86: if that's the stock spare tire carrier, make sure you take the spare off and look for cracks in the carrier. It's made of magnesium and will crack around the bolts.
I backed into a tree; got out and looked at it and everything seemed fine. Got home and took the spare off and I was shocked to see it was just barely hanging together; cracks on both sides around the lug bolts.

Installed some 5160s that I found on Craigslist. They're even better than I expected.

Ready for Jeep Fest!!!

Just installed my bestop oversize tire carrier so I could mount my 35inch tire on the jeep. I compared the tire to a mustang, 'low life'. Did a third brake light delete, I'm not a real big fan of third brake lights. So far so good, didn't hear any squeaks or vibration the tire hasn't fell off yet.. Even has a place for a lock so nobody can steal the spare tire.

Yeah I broke it real good! Lol I took it off before I drove anywhere after we finished up our wheeling. Those stock carriers don't hold up long. Just saving pennies for a full bumper and tire carrier.

Installed new Goodyear Dura Trac 285/70/17 tires. With the Teraflex 2 1/2" lift I have on it and the 1.5" spacers they really finished off the JK nicely. Looks like a great tire and from the reviews I believe it is. I will be going out in the desert tomorrow to test them out. I expect to be pleasantly surprised.
